How do I add an AI agent service?
Before you can assign AI agent licenses to employees, you need to add the agent service to Velory. You can search for it in the catalog or create it manually.

Before you begin
You need Admin access to add AI agent services.
Add an agent from the catalog
- Go to Assets → AI Agents.
- Click Add AI Agent in the top right.
- Type the name of the agent (e.g. "ChatGPT", "GitHub Copilot", "Midjourney").
- Click the agent from the search results.
- You will be taken to the service detail page to set up plans.
The catalog includes popular AI tools with pre-filled details like vendor, category, and logo.
Create an agent manually
If the agent you need is not in the catalog:
- Click Add AI Agent.
- Type the name of the agent.
- If no results match, click Create "[name]" as new service.
- You will be taken to the detail page to fill in details and set up plans.
What to do after adding an agent
Once an agent is added, set up at least one plan with the pricing tier, billing cycle, and cost. Then you can start assigning licenses to employees.
Good to know
Can I add an agent that is already in my company?
No. If an agent has already been added, it shows an "Added" badge in the search results. Click on it to go to the existing service.
Can I move an agent between the Software and AI Agents sections?
The section is determined by the service type set when the service was created. If an agent was added as software (or vice versa), contact your admin to update the service type on the detail page.
