How do I order for someone else?
Use Shop as. Pick an employee, a space or a storage location, and everything you add to the cart from then on is for them. Switch to someone else and keep adding — one cart can hold items for up to 25 recipients.

Before you begin
You need the Store — admin access and the store:admin permission.
Pick who you are shopping for
- In the Store's toolbar, select the arrow on your avatar — Shop as.
- Choose Employee, Space or Storage, and search for the one you want.
- Select them.
Your avatar gets an orange ring while you shop for someone else. Selecting the avatar itself opens their profile, with what they already have under Current Assets — worth a look before ordering a second monitor.
To go back to shopping for yourself, choose Shop as yourself.
Ordering for several people
Pick the first person and add their items. Then pick the next person and add theirs. The cart groups everything by recipient, each in its own section.
At checkout all of them go out as one request, delivered to one address. See What happens when I check out?.
Limits
| Limit | Message when you reach it |
|---|---|
| 25 recipients per cart | "A bulk request can include at most 25 recipients." |
| 99 of one item per person | "You can order at most 99 of one item per person." |
Only active or onboarding employees can be picked, and only active spaces and storage locations.
Good to know
Shop as forgot who I picked
It lasts for your browser session. Closing the browser or signing out resets it to yourself.
How do I take someone out of the cart?
Remove their items one by one. When the last item goes, so does their section.
"Employee profile required"
You have no employee record of your own in this company, so there is nobody to add items for. Ask another admin to add you as an employee. Shopping as someone else lets you fill a cart, but checkout still needs your own record, because the request is made in your name.
Ordering for a new hire
A hire with status Onboarding can be picked. If they are going through onboarding in Velory, their equipment is usually handled there instead — see How do I prepare a new hire's equipment?.
