How do I confirm my hardware has arrived?
When a device ordered for you is on its way, a Confirm what arrived card appears on your Overview. Once it is in your hands, select Mark as received.
Retailers tell Velory when they ship, never when you open the box. Your confirmation is the only way Velory learns the device reached you — until then it is not recorded as yours to use.
In this guide
Confirm a delivery
- On your Overview, find Confirm what arrived. Each device shows the order it came from.
- Select Mark as received on the device. With several, Mark all as received confirms them together.
- If asked, enter the Serial number — it is on the device or its box. Phones ask for the IMEI. A number the supplier already sent is shown and cannot be changed.
- Confirm.
The device is now recorded as in use by you.
With several devices, tick only the ones you have. "Anything you leave unticked stays as it is — confirm it when it arrives."
Good to know
I keep getting reminder emails
They stop when you confirm. Velory sends a reminder on weekdays once a delivery has gone quiet for a few days, and stops after a few rounds.
The serial number I typed is refused
"Serial number … is already registered to another device." Check you copied it from the right box. If it is right, tell your IT admin — the other record is probably a duplicate.
I don't see the card, but my parcel arrived
The card shows devices from orders placed for you once they have shipped. If yours is missing, ask your IT admin — they can mark it received from the order.
