What telco integrations does Velory support?

Updated 2 months agoSara AhlénIntegrations

A telco integration imports the mobile subscriptions you already pay for, so the subscriptions in Velory match the operator's records rather than a spreadsheet.

Supported operators

OperatorImportsCredentials
Tele2 SwedenSubscriptions and billing data, via the TSO APITSO username and password
Telia NorwaySubscriptions and invoice data, via the Mobile Management APIOAuth username, password, and customer ID

Both are connected per company, and both are read paths: Velory imports from the operator and does not place or change orders there.

Each operator is enabled per company, so the marketplace may show one, both, or neither. If you expect an operator and cannot find it, contact Velory support rather than looking for it under another category.

What a sync brings in

Each operator connection has two syncs:

  • Sync Now imports subscriptions — the phone numbers, plans, and their current state.
  • Sync Invoices imports billing data, so subscription costs show against the subscription rather than being entered by hand.

Both syncs can be run on demand from the integration page, and each records its own timestamp — Last Sync and Last Invoice Sync.

Getting credentials

Neither operator issues API credentials self-service. For both, you contact your account manager or business support and request API access, and they send the credentials back to you. That request is the long pole in setting these up — start it before you plan the rest of the work.

Once you have credentials, see How do I connect Tele2 Sweden? or How do I connect Telia Norway?.

Good to know

Can I connect an operator that isn't listed?

Not today. Tele2 Sweden and Telia Norway are the two operator integrations in the marketplace. Subscriptions from any other operator are managed in Velory directly.

Does a telco sync create reconciliation candidates?

Yes. Imported subscriptions arrive as candidates under Phone Subscriptions in reconciliation, where they are matched to employees — the sync result reports how many candidates it created and updated.

This is why a sync does not immediately populate your subscription list: the numbers a phone bill carries do not say who carries the phone. See What is reconciliation and how does it work?.

Is there a test environment?

Yes, for both. Each connection has an Environment setting, so you can point at the operator's test environment first and switch to production once the import looks right.
